Welcome

This website is a plea to federal civil servants to save our republic, our constitution and our decency. Yes, we know the public is often unappreciative of your dedication and hard work. You've been called "faceless bureaucrats" and worse. We may not deserve your help and the risk to your careers and lives such help implies. Nevertheless, we're out here legally communicating with you. And you know very well if there is martial law, we will be singled out for retribution.

We don't assert we know martial law will occur. Those who would declare it would need an excuse. Nevertheless, evidence suggests a reasonable person should be very concerned about the preparations for a permanent police state. You can come forward anonymously, like "deep throat" or publicly like Dan Ellsberg. Do not expect to necessarily be as fortunate as Ellsberg.

Look within your heart, and if you decide patriotism means enough, come take your place in history.

"Find out just what any people will quietly submit to and you have found out the exact measure of injustice and wrong which will be imposed upon them."  ~  Frederick Douglass
  Tips For Whistleblowers

A Concise Set of Advice for Potential Whistleblowers

1. Don’t talk to anyone at work about it. Especially your boss.

2. Consider providing information anonymously. It’s called “over the transom”. Be sure no saliva or fingerprints are on what you send. Use a photocopy machine from a community you rarely frequent. Pay with cash. If you send an official document, the investigator can find the part of the government which issued the document and confirm it’s existence.

3. If you are willing to contact a member of the press, make sure they are real investigative journalists, rather than personal friends of those in power.

4. Wikileaks is worth considering.

5. You are allowed to contact your congressmember. We advise approaching the investigative staff for both house and senate committees such as:
• Senate Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs
Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations (Chairman Levin)
199 Senate Russell Building, Washington, DC 20510
• U.S. Senate Committee on the Judiciary Subcommittee on Terrorism,
Technology and Homeland Security(Chairwoman Feinstein)
224 Dirksen Senate Office Building Washington, DC 20510
Majority Office 202-224-4933
• United States House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform(Chairman Waxman)
Mailing Address:2157 RHOB Washington, DC 20515-6143
Telephone:(202) 225-5051
• United States House Judiciary Subcommittee on Crime, Terrorism, and Homeland Security (Chairman Scott)
Mailing Address:B370 RHOB Washington, DC 20515-6223
Telephone:(202) 225-5727
• Committee on Homeland Security (Chairman Thompson)
Mailing Address:H2-176 FHOB Washington, DC 20515-6480
Telephone:(202) 226-2616

Also, Charles Grassley (R-IA) received a lifetime achievement award on May 17,2007 from the National Whistleblower Center. His chief of staff should point you to the correct committee staffer.

Call before you send anything because of the following advice from EFF (Electronic Freedom Foundation):

Why to Not Send Postal Letters Anymore
Because of the post-9/11 security issues, it can take up to THREE MONTHS for postal mail and package delivery services to get through to legislators and their staffs. All incoming mail and parcels are subjected to thorough analysis for bombs, poisons and biological agents like anthrax. This means that sending physical letters is, in 2002 and for the forseeable future, practically useless for activism purposes.

Wikileaks
A place for journalists, truth tellers and everybody else; global defense of sources and press freedoms, circa now.

House Passes Thought Crime Prevention Bill

10-25-2007
www.roguegovernment.com
Lee Rogers

The U.S. House of Representatives recently passed HR 1955 titled the Violent Radicalization and Homegrown Terrorism Prevention Act of 2007. This bill is one of the most blatant attacks against the Constitution yet and actually defines thought crimes as homegrown terrorism. If passed into law, it will also establish a commission and a Center of Excellence to study and defeat so called thought criminals. Unlike previous anti-terror legislation, this bill specifically targets the civilian population of the United States and uses vague language to define homegrown terrorism. Amazingly, 404 of our elected representatives from both the Democrat and Republican parties voted in favor of this bill. There is little doubt that this bill is specifically targeting the growing patriot community that is demanding the restoration of the Constitution.

Don\'t Let the Truth Get in the Way of a Bad Crime Story

Polly Toynbee

We live in extraordinary times: theft is down, so is violence. But sensation-seeking media fuel fear and distort priorities

Great lies, bold, bare-faced and unapologetic, are relayed every day by every orifice of the media in ways that would make Kim Jong-il proud. A malign conspiracy manufactures the myth that crime is out of control, soaring proof of David Cameron\'s \"broken society\". It\'s a falsity that fools most of the people all of the time.

Why Are Americans So Fearful?

Created Oct 16 2007 - 12:32pm
By Dave Eriqat

Warning: this essay is chock full of politically incorrect musings.

Observing our relentless march toward war abroad against Iran and looming dictatorship at home, it’s obvious to me that our “leaders” are getting away with this agenda because Americans are so fearful. But why? What are they afraid of? Answering this question is important because I think this irrational fear is finding an outlet in anger, which is evident in the police brutality we see domestically and wars we launch abroad.

What if our mercenaries turn on us?

Armed units from the private security firm Blackwater USA opened fire in Baghdad streets twice in two days last week. It triggered a standoff between the security contractors and Iraqi forces, a reminder that the war in Iraq may be remembered mostly in our history books for empowering and building America\'s first modern mercenary army.

There are an estimated 20,000 to 30,000 armed security contractors working in Iraq, although there are no official figures and some estimates run much higher. Security contractors are not counted as part of the coalition forces. When the number of private mercenary fighters is added to other civilian military \"contractors\" who carry out logistical support activities such as food preparation, the number rises to about 126,000.

\"We got 126,000 contractors over there, some of them making more than the secretary of defense,\" said House defense appropriations subcommittee Chairman John Murtha (D., Pa.). \"How in the hell do you justify that?\"

Pre-SPP Summit Conference Reveals True Elitist Mindset

By: Patrick Wood, The August Review

The August 21, 2007 Security and Prosperity Partnership (SPP) summit in Montebello, Quebec with U.S. President Bush, Canadian Prime Minister Harper and Mexican President Calderon was held behind closed doors. Nothing of substance has been reported by the press, even though several major media outlets attended the event. Printer friendly

To understand what might have happened, we can turn to an August 13 policy conference that was held in Washington, DC. Titled "The Montebello Summit and the Future of North America," the conference presented three panels of global thinkers, including Dr. Robert A. Pastor, to prognosticate on the past, present and future of the Security and Prosperity Partnership (SPP) and North America.

It is time to speak truth to US power

Financial Times Editorial

Published: October 8 2007 20:24 | Last updated: October 8 2007 20:24

Since the attacks of September 11 2001, the administration of President George W. Bush has sought to cast a cloak of legality over the wrongs that it has committed in the name of fighting terrorism.

Mr Bush seems to think that legal sleight of hand can be used to justify almost any tactic to battle terrorists ? including, it emerged last week, simulated drowning and other cruel interrogation techniques that Alberto Gonzales, his former attorney-general, appears to have authorised by secret legal memorandum.
